Day 1 : Johannesburg - Cape Town
On arrival in Johannesburg, connect to your onward flight to Cape Town. Transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.
Day 2 : Cape Town - Table Mountain
After breakfast, proceed on a full day Cape Point tour including Table Mountain. Enjoy the crisp air and clear visibility as you reach the summit. Continue on Africa s premier tour route to the romantic meeting place of the Indian Ocean & Atlantic Ocean. This tour offers you an exciting day out with Hout Bay, a 30-minute cruise to the seal colony in a glass bottom boat. Visit Cape Point Nature Reserve, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope, penguin colony in Simonstown and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Evening is at leisure. Overnight
Day 3 : Cape Town
After breakfast spend the day at leisure. Overnight
Day 4 : Cape Town - Oudtshoorn
After breakfast, start your tour towards the Garden Route well known as ‘South Africa’s Eden’ due to its dramatic beauty and striking contrasts. Travel via the scenic Sir Lowry’s Pass, Mossel Bay, George Wilderness the Diaz Museum and the Post Office Tree. Experience the semi-desert areas of the Klein Karoo and drive through quaint villages before arriving the ‘ostrich capital’ Oudtshoorn. Overnight.
Day 5 : Oudtshoorn - Knysna
After breakfast, proceed for a full day tour to Oudtshoorn. Visit the Safari ostrich farm where one can ride an ostrich! The farm has an excellent restaurant specializing in South African cuisine, especially ostrich meat (lunch on own). Also visit a curio shop selling an excellent range of Ostrich products. Visit an original palace Welgeluk, that is a national monument. Also visit the Congo Caves and the Congo Wildlife Ranch. In the evening, go on a sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon & enjoy dinner on the waterfront. Overnight.
Day 6 : Knysna - Johannesburg
After breakfast, depart for the airport to catch your flight to Johannesburg. Reach Johannesburg and proceed to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight.
Day 7 : Johannesburg - City tour
After breakfast, enjoy an early morning tour of Johannesburg which will cover an orientation tour of Johannesburg city center and surrounding suburbs. Gain an understanding on the history of apartheid, its impact on the city and the role of the city in shaping South Africa’s future. Overnight.
Day 8 : Johannesburg
After your breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Tambo International Airport for your flight back home.
